Demography: Mr Rashid has born in a Muslim family at Bagmara Upazila in the Rajshahi district. His family consists of a wife, 2 sons and 1 daughter. Education: He completed his Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering in 2011 from East West University (EWU) Dhaka and Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1993 from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) and obtained 1st class in both degrees. He passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in 1986 and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 1984 from the science group and obtained both 1st divisions from Rajshahi Education Board in Bangladesh. He is currently a PhD fellow at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). Professional Membership: He became a Member of the Institute of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB), Associate Member of Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS), Chief Advisor of Bagmara Engineers Association (BEA), and Life Member of the NAPD Alumni Association. Certification: Mr Abdur Rashid is an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP). Training: He completed 31 professional training both locally and abroad. He is a regular faculty, and his teaching area of interest includes ICT, e-government, e-Procurement, HRM, project management, Innovation and change management. Research: Applications in the fields of e-Government, ICT, e-Procurement, Innovations, and project management drive his research. In addition, he has completed six studies in the public sector. Consultancy: Carrying out consultancy on the feasibility study of public sectors. Author: He is the author of a book titled ‘Doynondin Jibone Computer Technology Proyog’ published in March 2021. Award: He got an ‘Innovation Award 2020-21’ from NAPD, Ministry of Planning. He also got an ‘Annual Performance Agreement (APA) award for 2020-21’ from the awarding authority- the Ministry of Planning.
