I have done my B.Tech in Civil Engineering (2015) from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. After qualifying GATE-2016, I have joined Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur and qualified my M.Tech in Geoinformatics (2018). My M.Tech research work was on Estimation of soil erosion and sediment yield of Bakreshwar reservoir using GIS and Remote sensing Techniques. I have been awarded as 1st class 1st rank holder in M.Tech from IIEST Shibpur. From July’2018 I have joined as junior research fellow in Science and Engineering Research Board, New Delhi, DST, Govt. of India in a research project of estimation of Aboveground biomass of Kalimpong District. I am doing my PhD from Aug’2018 in Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. My PhD research topic is estimation of carbon sequestration using integration of optical and SAR based remote sensing. I am also in a current position (from July’2020) as senior research fellow in Science and Engineering Research Board, New Delhi, DST, Govt. of India.
